Wedding Date: August 2020
This was the first microwedding I did in 2020 and it was so much fun! Many couples pivoted last summer to have smaller, outdoor, covid safe weddings, and the florals offered in the microwedding package are meant to compliment that. Even with smaller ceremonies I believe it is worthwhile for couples to have some flowers for their wedding day. They tie everything together beautifully and make the day (and them!) feel extra special (as they should!).
Sam and Alex hosted a small group of friends and family for their intimate backyard wedding. They built an arbour to get married under and asked to have a floral piece created for it. Sam sent me some inspiration photos of flowers and colours that she liked, and wanted the overall look of "wildflowers with pops of colour". She left the details up to me, and this is what I created! Very happy with how everything turned out, and how well is suited the couple and the day. The bouquet and boutonnière were designed using the same flowers.

There were pops of pink, purple, and blue throughout the arbourpiece and bouquet. A mix of stock, delphinium, dahlia, aster, freesia, carnations, Italian ruscus, and eucalyptus were all used to create this colourful mix. The pink flowers specifically also perfectly complimented both the bride and grooms hair!
Wishing these two a happy, healthy, and bright future together!
